DIY Coconut Oil Hair Mask

While the cold and dry months are upon us and many love the holiday spirit and overall feeling of fall and winter, we do not appreciate our hair feeling drier than the Sahara. The only crunch you feel should be the leaves beneath your feet — not your hair. With this simple DIY, your hair will be replenished with moisture and will appear silkier and shinier than before.

Here’s what you need:

1.) 3 TBSP Extra Virgin Coconut Oil – This oil is known to promote hair growth, add lustre and moisture to your hair in order to protect split ends and fragile hair

2.) 1 TSP Tea Tree Oil – This oil is known for its bacteria fighting properties and soothing qualities. If you have a dry scalp, it will nourish your follicles and unclog them

Mix the two ingredients together in a small bowl until the coconut oil becomes smooth and easy to manipulate. Massage mixture from root to tip, let it sit in a high-bun for 15-30 minutes, and cleanse with a clarifying shampoo after. Voila!
